This site features a News and Events calender, a shopping local guide, a weather widget and lots of information about what Johnson County has to offer.

The main function of this site is the current news and events calender. Johnson County wanted a way for their community to keep in touch and up to date on current events so, they took advantage of our annual service contract. By doing this we will make updates and changes as needed and keep the calender updated as well. With a simple e-mail the site is updated in a timely fashion. The upcoming local events (such as meetings) are also shown on the home page, for easy access.

One aspect that sets this site above the rest is the fact that it is constantly maintained and updated! 

Note the Tourism and Local attractions column on the home page. This shows tourist everything that Johnson County is proud!

The search bar is very efficient for tourist looking for a certain attraction or events.  There is also info on the Chamber of Commerce including a members list, membership applications, and contact info. If you click on the County Info tab you can find everything you need to know from properties to demographics, this is great for locals or anyone interested in looking into owning property in Johnson County.

Click here to Visit Elite Shaving Company’s Website. Small e-commerce business websites can vary greatly, this is an example of a very visually appealing site.  It offers a large interactive graphic, a user friendly layout, and a helpful blog page to guide customers through the shaving process.

Elite Shaving wanted to offer a simple, but professional looking site to make the process of purchasing shaving products painless. This site is very easy to navigate, it also includes a side column that has Featured Products, Product Categories, a facebook link, etc.

The owner wanted to give something back to the community, so with every sale a donation is made to the Semper Fi Fund. There is a link to this on the front page and in the important info column.

In the product category pages you will find a Sort Tab. This is nice to have, especially if your products pricing ranges greatly. Customers can also rate the products and write a review.

This is a very professional and clean website that has lots of information from how the bearings are made, to what they are used in and other services American Roller Bearing offers to their customers.

Take note of the buttons on the front page. Being such a large company there are many questions one might have, the buttons provide a quick and easy way to find the answer to most of these questions. The buttons include a company history, reconditioning and repair, a product list and the latest company news.

The site has a search bar to further help navigate their site, with so much info available this is greatly needed. Take a look at the Warranty page. It gives a brief quality statement, a warranty statement and the terms and conditions. Having a page like this could be very beneficial to your company.

This site has a very in depth Contact Us page with phone, fax and e-mail to every one of their locations. Even the names of their representatives are listed with the location. American Roller Bearing wanted to list their Credentials, having this link along with the company history on the front page gives a potential customer the confidence they need to use them for their bearing manufacturer.

Click here to Visit Hickory Designers Website. Hickory Designer is a small business specializing in Interior Design and Guided Furniture Shopping.  The primary objective of this site was to educate the customer on their services and provide a user friendly online scheduler to set up appointments.

Notice the “Let’s Get Started” button below the graphic on the front page, clicking there takes you directly to the online scheduling page where you are just a few simple clicks away from having your appointment set up.  Customers can also reach online scheduling at the bottom of the front page by clicking on the space plan, hourly, half day or full day links. From here potential clients can see what services are offered and what their prices are.

The online scheduler was very important to the owner because it is how she will plan most if not all of her appointments. Click here to see the Online Scheduler.

The Portfolio page was very important to Hickory Designer, the owner really wanted to display her previous projects. Having a page like this really shows her Interior Design abilities and gives her customers a broad idea of the experience she has and what she can offer. Take a look at how this page is set up. Every project is linked to a page of its own, this is a very visually appealing way to set up a project portfolio. Last, check out the Services page, it shows the customer step-by-step exactly the process they will go through during their experience with Hickory Designer and a full list of services to choose from.

The website includes tons of information for the customers to find out whatever they need to know about purchasing garage doors and any spare parts to fit their needs.

Take note of the DIY Education Center column on the front page. There is an expert how-to educational product video on literally everything you would need to know to be able to purchase and install your own Garage Door system. The videos also provide step by step instructions on how to assess and fix any problem you might have with their products, including what new products you might need to order to complete the fix.

The About Us page gives the business a solid ethical background so the customer feels great about purchasing something from this site.  It is always a smart idea to give the customer an idea of who they are dealing with.

The Contact Us page clearly states that they ship daily and when the customer needs to place an order so it can be shipped that day. It also gives multiple ways to contact them, which ever is easier. Pay attention to the Important Info column on the front page as well. This lets you know about shipping questions, returns, warranty issues, and service hours. There is also a blog page where you can see if they have the right parts to fit your garage door, they cover parts for a wide variety of manufacturers.

This website is a great example of an e-commerce stores capability. How ever if you are in the garage door business and looking to open a similar store we cannot help you. We like Kyle so much that he is the only person in the garage door industry that we will ever build a website for.

The ultimate objective for the owner was to get phone calls or contact form submissions from potential clients. Take note of the Rate Quote button. This option allows you to sign in and  ”chat” with clients, in this case give rate quotes. Although this feature can be used for many reasons. You can use it as a “live chat” to provide ultimate customer service, being able to walk your client through a problem and not tie up your phone lines.

Alexander Trucking wanted to include an extensive service area map, showing their service area in general and the distances that they could provide certain local services to. They are willing travel to any of the locations given and provide a wide variety of services.

Click here to Visit Island Style Galleries Website. Are you looking for a small business site that is easy on the eyes and wonderful to navigate, then take note of Island Style’s site. They truly expressed themselves with this site showing their customer what they are all about!

This is not an e-commerce site, therefore the business wanted to focus on how they presented their store, products and services offered to attract more store traffic. The Island Style Collection page gives an in depth gallery of all of their products, separated by category.  Most of their items are handmade, once you click on the category they give a great description of how they are all made.

Island Style also provides Design Services.  The Island Style Design page gives a smooth introduction to their service the shows a gallery of their work, as well as contact information.

Notice the Facebook and Twitter buttons, this gives another way for their customers to keep up with their inventory and stay up to date on the services offered.  Being located in a tourist town the “Connect With Us” buttons along with the gallery of products will attract traffic of people passing through.

One of the main features of the website is the “Live Gallery Webcam”, check this out!  This live webcam gives the customer the opportunity to get a  first hand experience with the store before they get there. The website also features a “Living Island Style” page where you can find many Island recipes.  The directions page has multiple maps, making it easy for a tourist to find their location.

Idaho Enterprises wanted a website that included a very detailed list of their services.  Within each service offered you will find many features that are included for reference. Also because hauling heavy equipment cost an extreme amount of money and fuel, they wanted to focus on a very precise service area for their potential jobs to be located in.

One of the highlights of their business model is to provide free onsite quotes for their customers.  We included a large quote button to encourage all visitors to contact them with their project details and get a no obligation quote.

When looking at the bottom of every page you can see a rating link for Idaho Enterprises.  This gives your customer a great deal of confidence in your business.  They also have a recent project portfolio giving their customers an even better idea of what they have to offer.   The owner has his phone number and e-mail at the bottom of every page.

Since Hickory’s Best Sellers focuses on Hickory and the surrounding area only, they could provide detailed information on the local schools, attractions, etc. They also wanted to provide educational pages that inform a potential client on all the services offered, tips on how to get started and what to expect during their interaction with Hickory’s Best.

To further engage their clients with the experience they provided a Real Estate Glossary teaching them about real estate terms, in turn smoothing over the process all together. To keep clients up to date  there is a blog page, here you can provide whatever information you want to keep your customers involved an informed.

By clicking on any listing you are provided with very detailed descriptions of the home and what it has to offer.  The professional quality photos of the house and property give a potential client a walk through that fully covers everything they need to see. On the home page there are many options and links to navigate you through the site accordingly. Including the latest listings, a search for listings, some info on the company and a nice looking scrolling graphic to set it off. This site offers many tools and features to help the client, like a loan calculator, an office location map, an advanced MLS search and much more.

This site is absolutely filled with literally everything  an investor would need to know about purchasing land including advice to potential clients on buying, selling, investing, etc. It has a very friendly approach and at the same time fully educates their clients before they even contact the company.

On the home page a scrolling graphic gives you an idea of what Mountain Land has to offer including acreage and value. A few paragraphs introduce you to the company. Once someone is interested a very large Browse Property button lets them investigate deeper.  There is a link to their video library on the home page. Mountain land makes a short film of each property, professionally giving clients an idea of each tract of mountain land, narrowing their search, saving time and making more sales!

Mountain Lands goal for this site was to make contacts with potential clients and fully educate them on the subject. They provide endless amounts of information on things like planning to buy, planning to sell, investing, financing, NC nature, lodging, restaurants and even have current blogs! Its this kind of dedication that shows their clients that they are making the right decision purchasing from Mountain Land. This site makes it very simple to navigate the different properties, giving many options to choose from.  Since the site is meant for contacting they made sure to have a detailed “about us” and  ”contact us” page. With these two pages potential customers have an easy way to answer their questions.
